DESCRIPTION:A fun community bike ride through the heart of Santa Rosa. \nCome join us this Tuesday!\nWe roll through the JC and McDonald Ave neighborhood\, stop in Courthouse Square\, then on to the taco trucks at Mitote Food Park in Roseland for dinner!\nWe depart Mitote at 8:15pm\, ride back through Courthouse Square\, then on to Yogurt Farms for dessert.\nThis ride is 8 miles round trip and rides all year long.\nRides canceled for rain and holidays.\nAll riders welcome. Bring the whole family!\nMeet at SRJC parking lot at 550 Silva Ave. We are renting the use of this parking lot every Tuesday from 5:30pm to 9:30 pm. Taco Tuesday riders can park in the lot during that time frame for free.\nPlease park cars along the back wall on the east side. And stage in the row on the northern side of the lot (closest to Silva Ave). \nMeet at 5:30pm; pedals up at 6pm.\n

DESCRIPTION:Guitarist\, producer and bandleader Steve Freund was praised by Rolling Stone for his “masterful\, no-nonsense guitar work” and has appeared on over 50 albums\, including the legendary Koko Taylor’s Grammy-winning “Blues Explosion.” Steve was Sunnyland Slim’s main guitarist and has also worked with Big Walter Horton\, Floyd Jones\, and harmonica legend James Cotton.  \nIn addition to his guitar career\, Steve is an accomplished piano accompanist who has worked with Pinetop Perkins\, Jimmy Walker\, Henry Gray\, Erwin Helfer and many more. Daniel Castro learned his craft in the South Central L.A. blues clubs alongside “Mighty Mouth” Delmar Evans\, before recording and touring with artists including Small Faces singer-bassist Ronnie Lane. In 1995\, he formed The Daniel Castro Band\, releasing two albums under that name. He now plays regularly with bassist Johnny Yu and drummer David Perper. \nBlues Defenders hosts a weekly concert with headliners and swing dancing. Followed by Pro Jam. \nDoors open at 5pm Show Starts at 6pm. Tickets $12 online. $15 at door. $10 for members. \nOur kitchen is open and serving our All New Menu from the time doors open until end of intermission.
