As a German soldier steps into No Man’s Land singing “Stille Nacht\,” soldiers from opposing armies spontaneously set aside their weapons\, share songs and stories\, and unite in a brief\, but unforgettable\, truce. It’s a poignant reminder of the shared humanity that transcends even the most bitter of conflicts.\nTold through a glorious\, all-male a cappella chorale\, All Is Calm weaves together the authentic words and songs of the men who experienced this historic event. Written by Peter Rothstein\, with vocal arrangements by Erick Lichte and Timothy C. Takach\, the production is directed by Sheri Lee Miller with the intricate vocal music directed by Lucas Sherman.
